King Koil Beds - Because High-End Mattress Craftsmanship Shouldn't Cost a Lot

King Koil beds are usually known as a decent choice. As most mattress brands desperately scramble to be on top of the charts, the King Koil stays on its steady throne in the background. Consumers who get confused about the endless stream of mattress offers and special features introduced by other top brands can always rely on the never-changing reliability of King Koil beds.

Despite King Koil's lack of popularity, the company makes highly impressive mattresses used by several 5-star hotels.

King Koil's models can be grouped into several different collections.

Four Best Collections

Spine Support

The Spine Support beds come with three different zones formed by three groups of coils. These three zones are strategically located in the three major areas of the body where support is most needed. The beds are made up of 420 coil springs made of high quality tempered steel. The coil spring system is attached to a 2 ½ inch layer of poly foam.

The secret ingredient, however, is the 0.5 inch layer of memory foam, which ensures that the bed feels soft but also perfectly supportive, channeling the extraordinary orthopedic benefits of memory foam. Some consumers, however, think that the memory foam layer can still be made thicker because the difference is not that noticeable due to its being only half an inch thick.

Perfect Contour

The Perfect Contour beds use the same multiple-zone coil system as the one that appears in the Spine Support beds. But instead of three zones, the Perfect Contour beds come with five zones. Thus, five different sensitive and crucial pressure points in the body get better and more specialized support.

Another difference is that the coil springs are also connected to each other to prevent the transfer of motion from the bed's right side to its left side and vice versa. Then a high density foam is added to strengthen the edges of the bed.

Perfect Contour Extraordinaire

The Contour Extraordinaire beds are known as the more luxurious King Koil offers with exceptional quality and a quite grandiose design. The bed has a unique layer made of soft foam to maximize the soft comfort offered by the mattress.

Although it offers good quality that is comparable with that of the innerspring mattresses from Sealy's winning Posturepedic line, the Contour Extraordinaire beds are surprisingly cheaper.

Natural Elegance

King Koil has never been known as a particularly innovative company, but it did rise up to the challenge of creating environment-friendly beds as well. The result of the company's efforts is the Natural Elegance line.

True to their name, these mattresses are made from natural Talalay latex foam. Although there are a lot of Talalay latex beds these days, King Koil stands out due to the cheap prices of the mattresses.

There is one problem, though. If you are really looking for a 100% organic latex foam mattress, don't just pick out any mattress from the Natural Elegance line. Ironically, some mattresses in this series are made using a combination of synthetic latex and natural latex. Therefore, you have to do extra research to check whether your chosen model is really 100% organic.
